It’s getting close to that time of year that everyone’s been waiting for. Christmas? Nope. Hanukah? Not even close.
 

Each year in the World of Warcraft MMO, players are treated to the Feast of Winter Veil, an excuse to shake presents under a tree, make gingerbread cookies, and throw snowballs! Sure, it’s all become a little commercialized in recent years thanks to those pesky goblins from Smokywood Pastures, but since when does anyone abstain from the festivities because of something as silly as shameful marketing?

This November, all the holiday cheer you can shake a stick at is coming to the WoW TCG! The Feast of Winter Veil Collector’s Set will feature cards that let players relive all of the fun quests they can undertake in the MMO during the annual holiday.

Each box will come packed with enough gifts to make a gnome’s head explode:

In addition to the contents above, each box will also come with two exclusive, cosmetic “pets”! As many MMO players already know, players in the online game have the option to summon cosmetic pets. Why? Because they look cool. In the TCG, cosmetic pets will be something players can use to add a little more flavor to the game, but just like the MMO, they have absolutely no impact on game play. At half the size of your hero card, Father Winter’s Helper and Tiny Snowman will keep your hero company, even when things seem bleak. Don’t worry, though: since the pets are cosmetic, they’re never actually in play, meaning that they can’t be targeted or destroyed, and they don’t take up your Pet slot if you’re a Hunter or Warlock!
